She Gotta Be a Ride or Die

My point of view on the ride or die topic.

Ladies you can chose to stay with a man no matter what or have your your deal breaker(s). However don't ever think you HAVE to stay with a man, because of what everyone says.

Society has women believing that if you enduring all of a man's troubles and BS that you will obtain the sought after "ride or die" status and hopefully one day that man that you were "riding" for will marry you. Because that's goal right ?

Absolutely not. Ladies please go rewash your mind from the constant brain wash of the idea that you HAVE to stand by a man through infidelity and criminal history and unnecessary drama because of "the amount of years you put in," or not wanting to look like you quit on him when he was down or things got rough. A relationship is not a jail sentence.  It's one thing if a man is going through personal, family issues or financial issues and he may actually need you to be by his side. You by no means HAVE to stay by his side. Leaving him in this time of need versus leaving him after catching your man cheating and he "apologizes" or he goes to jail for reasons and situation he put themselves is two totally different situations.

It's selfish for them to expect you to put your life on hold because they wanted to mess things up.

It's one thing, growing together and you really feel like your man is making the right changes to better himself and do the right thing by you.

The normality of cheating in the media has translated into "our world" "the real world" as acceptable. Men that have half the credentials and no where near the money treat their women WAY worst then the actors, athletes and musicians and they have the NERVE to use the celebrities cheating and their women staying, as justification to cheat on their women with the expectancy of them staying.

Ain't no amount of money going to make cheating okay, and instead of throwing it in women's face as "Even Beyonce' can get cheated on" think about it like damn "A man would even cheat on Beyonce'." Beyonce is looked at as the epitome of every man's dream, and almost every woman's idol in some way shape or form, but some how Jay-Z still managed to be unfaithful. To make matters worse, men of the internet (this is what we'll call fans, haters, tweeters etc.) back Jay-Z and other guys like Kevin Hart and Kobe Bryant up by saying that maybe it's something that Beyonce wasnt doing right or they make a joke of a woman's pain and being publicly humiliated by the outting of the infidelity(even though according to these same men of the internet Beyonce is a goddess and can do no wrong.)

No one knows of Gucci and Keyshia Ka'oir relaitonship , except of what they tell us. Congratulations to the newlyweds ! Weddings and the decision to become one is always a beautiful event to witness, especially this elaborate wedding.

What I'm upset about is that according to a lot of the re-tweets I see, weddings are a treat that men, (especially men that are not sure if they want to settle down or not) dangle over a woman while they do their dirt. They drag the woman(or women) in their lives along and dangle the possibility of marriage in exchange for loyalty. For better or for worse is for your interpretation.
